How to Reprogram Your Mindset to Manifest Your Goals (Even When Plans Fail)

When Planning Isn’t Enough

Have you ever felt like no matter how much you plan, organize, and comb through every detail, you just can’t reach the goal you have set? Or you start something that, in your mind, is the perfect plan, but for some reason, it is not translating to the physical world the way you imagined it. This scenario has haunted me for the last year and a half because, for the life of me, I could not figure out the solution to this delicate problem. It’s like I have the plans, the tools, and everything that the plan should work out with no issue, right? During my many deep internal reflections with myself, I think I have finally discovered what the solution is, and it is quite simple. Change your mindset; that is the major key to manifesting anything in our human world.

The Mindset Problem Behind Most Failures

The mind is one of the most powerful tools that we have. Our minds have been programmed by other people as soon as we gain consciousness. We have been conditioned by our televisions, social media, movies, jobs, and schools. If they have our attention, they can control our lives. If our mindset has been programmed to stay tuned into the vibration of negativity, then our lives will reflect that. We can draw up the most intricate and detailed rebrand for our business or lives, and if our mindset is not adjusted to match the plans, our plan will almost always fail. You can follow your plan step by step, but if you have not convinced your mind that you are serious about your goals and you believe in them, then you will not see the results that you are looking for.

The Mind as a Portal to the Higher Self

I have a theory that our brain is just a tool that helps communicate through “other” dimensions and connects directly to our higher selves. The mind is on a never-ending FaceTime call to our higher selves. Observe it this way, our brains are a completely separate entity from the true essence of who we are. We are not our brains; it is only a tool for processing. What we observe with our eyes and hear with our ears is being fed to our brains 24/7. The job of the mind is to process our day-to-day and provide solutions for any problem we may have or answer a question that comes up. If we consistently feed our minds negativity, bad song lyrics, or violence, it will then use that as a reference when we are looking for an answer in our everyday life. Our higher self comes into play because “it” is observing where your vibration is in life, and that will determine what you are ready for. So, if you say you want to be your own boss, but you keep exposing your mind to the Indeed app, browsing through jobs, why would your higher self send you “help” to become an entrepreneur?

Reprogramming a Mind That’s Addicted to Negativity

If you have been tuned into the frequency of negativity, it will be challenging to get your mind reprogrammed to positivity. First, you have to figure out what you want to achieve in this lifetime. What will make your soul smile? Once you have that down, start to identify all the bad habits that you have been accustomed to, doom scrolling, bad TV, vulgar lyrics, etc. Remember: the brain can’t decipher that you are just watching reality TV and it’s not real. It is taking everything you feed it as fact and what you want to manifest into the physical. After you have written your list, let your brain know (by silently speaking to yourself) that you are no longer aligning with these habits anymore. Next, write a list of what the person you want to be would be doing in that role. So if you are striving for self employment-what does the day-to-day look like? Off the top of my head, I would say that they are actively working on building their business. And if you are the only employee, I’m sure there is always something to work on. What does your self-care day look like when you get burnt out from business? Those are just a few questions you can answer and then add to your list. My tip would be to put that list in your notes app and then set a reminder every day to read it. If you are having trouble getting detailed answers, then turn to business owners in real life. I would learn from CEOs who are actively working at a company. You could look on social media for a business owner, but I wouldn’t suggest it UNLESS it’s obvious that social media is strictly for marketing. Anyone trying to sell you a course is not someone to inspire you to be like.

Build a Plan That Can Breathe

Once you get a grip on what you want to achieve and who can loosely inspire you, write an ever-evolving plan that will help you stay accountable. Do not put too much detail or restrictions in this plan because if/when you don’t achieve a goal, you don’t want to be so disappointed that you give up. Let your plan be able to breathe and evolve as you grow your business. Make sure your plan is realistic in the sense that you are getting ready to chart in new territories, and you won’t have all the answers in the beginning. Lastly, be open and stay adaptable; you never know how opportunities will present themselves, so you have to stay in a mindset that welcomes change with ease.

Rebranding Means Rebranding Everything

When you are in the process of rebranding and the possibilities seem endless, you want to make sure that you are rebranding every part of your life. Nothing should be left behind when trying to realign with your higher self. If you are striving to be the next millionaire CEO, what do you think he/she does in their personal day-to-day? My answer would be to make sure to take care of yourself in all areas. Eating well to ensure a healthy body is maintained, exercise for stress release, some form of therapy, hobbies to allow your mind to rest without purpose, regular doctor appointments, and the list can go on. Your body is your vessel and will work seamlessly with you to achieve your goals as long as you take care of it. When your body is healthy and does not have to spend extra energy to maintain that unused energy can be used towards something more creative.

Grace During the Reprogramming Process

My final thoughts would be to not feel guilty when you have to confront that you have been traveling down the wrong path. We have all been born into this curated matrix; however, it is up to us to break free and create our own personal matrix that aligns with our highest self. The fact that you have the awareness to realize something is not right should let you know that you are already heading back down the right path. Have grace and be patient with yourself during the reprogramming of your mind; it will not happen overnight, but with consistency, you will see results soon enough. Stay focused on your goals and keep convincing your mind that you live in the reality that you are seeking. Don’t bring anything into your awareness that you don’t want your brain to retain, reference, or solve.
