About

Hello, and welcome to my cosmic corner of the internet.

My name is Brittney, and I created The Cosmic Radar as a place to document the ideas, books, observations, and moments that continue to find me.

Why “The Cosmic Radar”

I like to think of myself as a multi-faceted person.

My interests rarely stay in one lane, and I needed a space where they could all exist together. Rather than separating my curiosity into different places, I decided to gather everything that has landed on my cosmic radar into one publication.

A Writer First

Writing has always been the thread connecting everything I do.

I’m naturally quiet because most of the conversation happens in my mind. Ideas arrive constantly, and this website gives them somewhere to live outside my journals.

Books have always been my first love, so you’ll find reading notes, essays, and eventually reviews documenting what I’m learning.

My long-term dream is simple:

To publish books of my own.

Beyond Books

Science fiction has become one of my favorite genres, so expect plenty of reviews and reflections from the worlds I explore.

You’ll also find photography, visual essays, and videos that capture the quieter moments that often go unnoticed.

I’m a visual learner who believes beauty exists almost everywhere once we slow down enough to see it.

An Invitation

Whether you’re here because of a book, an essay, a photograph, or simple curiosity…

I’m glad you found your way here.

I hope something on this site encourages you to notice the world—and yourself—a little differently.

Welcome to The Cosmic Radar.

Essays & Visual Archives

The Cosmic Radar is a space for essays, observations, and visual archives exploring life, meaning, creativity, and the human experience.
