Power vs Freedom: What a Yacht Night in Miami Taught Me About What People Really Chase

A Yacht Night That Shifted My Perspective

This post was inspired by a moment I had while spending 4 days in Miami. We were all on a yacht celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday when we discovered we could lie out at the front of the boat. When we got up there, the boat was preparing to exit the canal to enter the Biscayne Bay. The view had me in awe for most of the night; everything twinkled perfectly together, and it felt like I was entering an opening scene of a movie. In that moment, I finally understood why people chase this lifestyle. The power and peace I felt were confusing at first, but eventually it all started to make sense.

The Woman’s Perspective: Lifestyle Funded by Men

The first perspective that I want to cover is the woman’s perspective. Some women have made names for themselves by chasing a lifestyle that is funded by men of high celebrity or wealth status. Women in this category will solely depend on being provided money to be on yachts, to have nice bags, and to have unforgettable experiences, but at what cost? Some are willing to trade in their morals for a good time or to get themselves further ahead. And I would like to say not ALL women do this, it’s only a few. It’s very hard to speak on a subject as sensitive as this since I don’t have the full story of why some women go this route. The only way that I can rationalize a woman going in the direction of life is because they wants instant gratification. Maybe they have a family to provide for and need money quickly, or they like the fast lifestyle.

Why I Understand the Temptation

No matter what the reason is as to why someone would chase that lifestyle, I understand why they are doing it. After experiencing that moment in Miami, it was almost like I had just felt my first high with a new drug, and all I could think about was how to get that feeling back. The freedom I felt in that moment made me realize that I need to keep going on my journey with my dreams. Creating and nurturing The Cosmic Radar, I feel, is what I am supposed to do as far as my purpose goes. But there is another “thing” that I am chasing, and that is freedom. On my personal journey, the goal for me is to be free of anything that is not in my divine plan or that is trying to control me. The matrix that we are all currently experiencing doesn’t allow that, specifically the jobs we work and the conditions that come along with working them.

What Are You Really Chasing: Power or Freedom?

In order to live a fulfilling life, you have to sit down with yourself and figure out what you are chasing, and it boils down to two things-power or freedom. When we look at our governments and the extremely wealthy, it would appear that their goal is to control. An example of extremely wealthy individuals who clearly seek out power is the founders and owners of Amazon and Facebook. I chose those two platforms because we are seeing them, in real time, try to “take over the world.” Amazon is well known everywhere in the world, as well as Facebook; both companies have bought out smaller companies in order to gain more control over winning over the consumer. Facebook purchased Instagram and merged the two platforms, while Amazon purchased Whole Foods to blend the two companies together in a way that sort of works. I am sure there is some type of feeling that these two founders feel by knowing that they have the power to influence billions of people across this entire planet, or anyone who has internet access. That feeling might have more value than money could ever give you.

When Influence Turns Into a Drug

As the famous line goes by one of Kanye West’s popular songs, “no one man should have all that power.” Kanye West has said a lot of questionable things over the years, but that one line is nothing but the truth. I’m sure there are more wealthy people just like Zuckerberg and Bezos who have created something that gives them so much influence on the world and the people that inhabit it. I can only imagine how huge their egos are, even if they try to present themselves as humble or relatable. In my opinion, no one who truly sought to be a humble person with little to no ego would have scaled the way they have.  I’ve read rumors online that state that Jeff Bezos was more than likely a nerd in school and is now trying to overcompensate as an adult to run from that image. Whether that is true or not, you can definitely tell something is happening when you observe him and the things that news reports on him. Power is one hell of a drug.

Power, Bloodlines, and the Energy of Control

Having power could also mean securing your family’s future generations long after you depart Earth. It would seem that they want to maintain control so badly that they need to ensure that their future generations are able to maintain the energy of control when they are no longer here physically as humans. In a cosmic way, I think power equals energy, and once you collect so much energy in this world, it has to translate somehow as we pass on, right? The question I also wonder about is, do we still benefit from our bloodline’s energy after we pass on? To dig a little deeper, if your bloodline follows the conditioning that you have left behind and continues to build the power on the earthly side, can you, as a soul passed on, still benefit from that energy in a different realm? It’s very hard to narrow the answer down to one answer because there is so much more that I still have to learn on my journey. I’ve read that everyone’s soul comes from many different places, just like how we are all from different countries, cities, etc. So we don’t know where a soul is coming from and what they are bringing along. What if the goal for the soul was to collect so much power (energy) to return it to where their soul originally came from?

Soul Patterns, Conditioning, and the Truth Behind People

There is so much that we don’t know about everything beyond life on Earth and how everything is to work here. There is no such thing as coincidence; everything that we experience is planned down to every single detail. The person who makes the plan is ourselves, our higher selves. Everyone is not as mysterious as they want to seem. If you want to know their soul, pay attention to what they are passionate about, what their hyper focus is. What brings them joy? You can tell when someone has been conditioned to do anything; if you are paying attention close enough, it is very obvious. Don’t be fooled by the conditioning, because we also see in the world when someone goes against the conditioning to do their own thing. Some people like to call them the black sheep of the family. Depending on how healed the “sheep” is, they will break generational curses and bring their healing to the bloodline.

The Addictive Nature of Power (and the Need for Balance)

If you have ever had a taste of power, then you know the feeling that I am trying to describe. It’s truly unexplainable but yet addictive enough that you want to experience it again. I believe that everything is okay in moderation; it is only when we get off balance that things start to take a turn for the worse. Self-awareness is and will always be a major key.
