The Moment the News Broke

During August of 2025, Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Washington, D.C., and claimed to take over the police department. According to the BBC, an estimated 800 National Guard troops were deployed along with 500 federal law enforcement officers to the district. When this hit the news outlets and social media, people were in an uproar. People were saying this was the beginning of martial law; some were so excited about it, and the residents of D.C. were on TikTok making videos to show the world that the military didn’t need to come in because there was little to no crime in the city. Those specifics intrigued me because I was genuinely confused about why Trump decided to do that. After further research, he reasoned that the homeless people who were sleeping in the tourist part of the city and the crime were the reason for the military presence.

My Personal Lens: Living Near D.C. and Seeing It for Myself

Living in the DMV area all of my life, I am familiar with the homelessness that plagues the city. We used to party in the city, and on our way to the club, you would always see a tent or a homeless person standing around begging for change. Seeing so many homeless people, we ended up coming back one evening to give out “blessing bags.” The bags consisted of a sandwich, snacks, water, and travel-size toiletries that they may need. Everyone who received a bag expressed so much gratitude, and we were so happy the whole ride home. As for crime, we never experienced any event that involved someone doing something illegal towards us, although we never lingered in the city longer than we should have.

What Residents Started Posting Once Troops Arrived

After some days had gone by, and the military started to show up in the city, the residents of the city (some born & raised) started to document that it had been peaceful in the city since the arrival of the military. I became deeply intrigued because the residents were starting to give praises to Trump for making the city safe again. Some people reported that they were mugged on multiple occasions, and others stated that their cars were broken into, with items being stolen from their cars. The more I interacted with those videos on TikTok, the more I would come up with people being able to enjoy the city late at night without having to worry about something bad happening. The comments of these videos were filled with praise and citizens from other states begging for Trump to deploy troops in their city. Other comments were clearly followers of Trump, saying that our president needs to be thanked a million times over.

Public Reactions, Spiritual Confirmation, and My Inner Conflict

As I am gathering opinions and trying to gauge the overall temperature of this situation, my favorite and trusted psychic medium made a post on Instagram confirming that she predicted military presence in cities, and we have nothing to worry about. This gave me relief because, through all my observations of this situation, I never felt one bad feeling or anything that gave me the feeling we were headed in the wrong direction. However, I also battled with the question, Am I a full-on Trump supporter because I find myself agreeing with him on this specific topic? I quickly concluded that the answer to that is no. No one in this world is perfect and will do everything right; it is humanly impossible to do that. But I appreciate when something is done that does have a positive effect on the collective, specifically the Washington, D.C., collective. When we raise our collective, or if we can stay in a positive vibration, good things have no choice but to come and continuously come. That is the law of the universe. The issue with this whole scenario would be if we were getting first-hand reports of corruption happening to the local citizens at the hands of these troops. But none of that is happening, as of now.

Crime, Cities, and the Pattern That Looks the Same Everywhere

There is crime in every city you go to, and it eerily looks the same in every major city. Drug dealers, along with addicts, liquor stores, food deserts, and some would say that the crime and drugs were all planted intentionally to keep the black community down. We can’t confirm or deny that, but it looks like that may have happened. At the same time, we are all free to change the situation we are in. If you believe the theory that we live in a matrix, life is not real, and because it is not real, we can write, rewrite, edit, and produce the life we want. The only thing that is required of you is hard work, faith, and consistency. If you continue to act in the play that someone else has written for you, then, of course, when something as drastic as military policing cities, you will reject the idea because it will have a major impact on you. What if the people who created the ghettos are different from the people who are trying to clean them up? There is so much corruption the citizens of the United States don’t know who is who because they have been lied to for generations. 

Staying Safe by Living Clean and Thinking for Yourself

If you live your life authentically, walk to the beat of your own drum, follow the rules and laws, and maintain a positive outcome in life, then you have nothing to worry about. As I have mentioned a million times on this website, there is a shift and cleansing happening, and the people who will be impacted are the people who refuse to grow, live in fear, and are not receptive or adaptable to change. Fear is something that has a lot of people in a chokehold; some people don’t really know why they are scared, they are just being told to fear it. During this change the world is going through, you have to be able to think for yourself and be able to critically analyze these events. React with intention and not fear, slow down and process what is going on around you, and how it will impact you. The negative entities that feed off fear are literally betting on your energy to panic because you don’t understand what is happening. I’ve learned over the years that if you don’t understand something, ask questions until you have a firm grasp on it!

Final Thought: Don’t Get Trapped in the Left vs Right Game

A final thought, don’t fall victim to these left and right games because that is all that it is, one big game. The system we have known for generations has been set up to keep us divided and not united as one. And it looks like that system may be falling during our lifetime. There are and will be bad apples, no matter which side you pick. Never feel like you have to pick one side because society says so; if it doesn’t align with your soul, then you have every right to reject it. You have every right to use your free will in any way that is not harming other living beings, and most importantly, what works for you. This is why we are all reincarnated on Earth. No matter what happens in Washington, D.C., or in a major city near you, always remember that at the end of the day, you have power over your own reality! Stay focused, stay positive, and stay you!!
