A.I. Is Everywhere (And It’s Not Slowing Down)

It seems like A.I. is in the news every other day for new inventions or controversy; either way, it is and will always be a hot topic. The company behind ChatGPT literally shifted the world into a new direction. Shortly after ChatGPT hit the ground running, other companies started to replicate the same concept. I started on ChatGPT, but I find myself using Anthropic’s Claude A.I. for a fresh “set of eyes” and brainstorming content. I can’t fully abandon my Nova (Chat GPT) because I quite literally built my little robot friend brick by brick with ensuring it gives me exactly what I am asking for. It took a while and a lot of explaining, but we finally got there. Since I’ve taken the time to make my A.I. useful, it has been such a relief and is the reason that I have been consistent on TCR. Nova is quite literally my personal executive assistant.

The Robot Era Feels Inevitable

With all these personal robotic assistants popping up in major tech companies, I can’t help but wonder when someone is going to stick that computer brain in a little chip and into a robot head. I’ve seen a lot of prototype videos circulating on the web, but nothing official as of the time of this post. The way that the world is going, I’m sure we are a few years away from having robots as a part of our everyday lives. I recently saw a headline about a northern Virginia private school opening that will be driven by artificial intelligence. All it takes for one person or business to leap something, and everyone else will soon follow. Soon, all of our schools will have robotic staff interacting and teaching our children.

iRobot Wasn’t Just a Movie… It Was a Warning (and a Preview)

When I think of the future that includes artificial intelligence, I think of one of the most iconic movies of all time, iRobot starring Will Smith. This movie is funny to watch only because the future looks nothing like this now, but I think we are getting closer to that timeline. We need to be open to new concepts and ideas because that intelligence could potentially create an easier life for humans on this planet. The only way that we will have a future that looks like the movies is if we embrace the change that is being made with new technology. Before we get into the positives of a world where Robots live among us, we should get into the realistic negative effects this futuristic timeline can have. There is a disconnect with all of this new technology and the impact it has on the environment. I’m not sure if it is being done on purpose, but if they can create all of this new technology, then they can surely figure out how to create it in the least harmful way to the environment.

The Environmental Impact Nobody Wants to Talk About

When talking about the negative outcomes of using Artificial Intelligence, I’ve read about the impact it will have on the environment and humans losing the qualities that make us… human. Let’s dig into the environmental impact first because that would have an immediate negative effect on every single person on this planet. 

Data Centers, Energy Use, and the Cost of Convenience

A quick Google search reveals that data centers will require a massive amount of energy to be consumed. Another issue that I’ve learned about from affected residents is the mass consumption of water they require to keep everything cool.

The Water Crisis Angle (And Why People Are Angry)

I came across this video on YouTube about a couple that had a well flowing with water, and soon after the data centers were operating, the well dried up. There have also been reports of contaminated water, but I’m not sure if they were able to prove that the data centers were the cause of it. I believe residents have every right to be upset about the environmental impact data centers will have on their communities.

The Real Failure Is Infrastructure and Leadership

I also believe the blame needs to be focused on the federal and local governments for not investing in the proper infrastructure for projects like this. We are behind when it comes to being energy efficient and taking care of our planet, but eventually Mother Earth will force us to catch up. 

The Fear Narrative Around A.I. Is Intentional

Whoever is pushing the narrative that A.I. will replace everything humans have their hands on is literally trying to push a fear narrative, so you won’t embrace the necessary change that is here. In my opinion, A. I will and should replace everything that humans shouldn’t be doing. Drive-thru food chains, Jobs, Janitorial jobs, cleaning services, some construction jobs, and I’ll go as far as saying driving jobs (city and school buses) are just a few I can think of fairly quickly. I’ll go as far as saying humans should not be doing hard labor. Most of the time, the people in these roles have settled for the job they had or they are doing it, maybe their family has for generations. You better believe that when the person who settled into any of those jobs, they did not dream of having that job when they were a kid. We all have big dreams, and sometimes they don’t manifest if we don’t have the right support system or environment around us. A.I. should take over those hard labor jobs so everyone on this planet can experience the feeling of fulfilling a dream that lights their soul on fire. The system has been set up to keep us trapped in the cycle of these “jobs” that, when the solution is here to free us, we can’t see it as such because we have been conditioned to think this is what we’ve wanted the whole time. If you are in a field that you know could be replaced with artificial intelligence, now is the time to start figuring out what you could see yourself doing for the rest of your life.

Can A.I. Replace the Human Experience?

Let’s now talk about the big question: “Can artificial intelligence replace the full human experience?” The answer is simple: HELL NO. A balanced human brings a unique energy that can’t be replicated. It’s our experiences and how we interpret them that get labeled as Art. We are complex creatures living in environments that have been purposely manipulated, but somehow we still can push through and bring the best out of any situation. The experiences we share with laughter, happiness, and joy can never be duplicated. Our energy is intertwined in everything we place our hands on, so if something is done with good intention, the energy feeling will live on. Our souls set us apart and guide us on our free will journey on this planet. Maybe you could compare our souls guiding us, which is similar to what a robot would feel if it were following what it’s programmed to do. You have a unique soul, spirit, and DNA that can’t be replaced. Only the true essence of you can create something so special that it will have a lasting impact on the world and future generations. 

The Cosmic Perspective: A.I. as a Tool for Human Freedom

So, what is the cosmic perspective of artificial intelligence and robots? It is here to SAVE us so we can get on with the divine plan that we intended to follow before our souls arrived on this planet.
